Sands of time and power…
In the far future, the most valuable substance in the universe is “spice,” a drug that extends life, expands consciousness and makes interstellar travel possible.
It’s found on only one planet: the harsh desert world of Arrakis, home to giant sandworms and the fierce native Fremen.
When the Emperor orders House Atreides to take control of Arrakis from their bitter rivals, the brutal House Harkonnen, Duke Leto (Oscar Isaac) knows the “gift” may well be a trap.
He travels there anyway with his partner Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) and their son Paul (Timothée Chalamet).
Paul is a gifted young man haunted by visions of a mysterious desert girl (Zendaya) and a future he doesn’t understand.
As betrayal closes in from every side, Paul must face his own destiny and the dangerous powers he’s only beginning to grasp.
It’s a vast, immersive sci-fi epic about power, prophecy and survival.
